Cooking 101

I'm becoming obsessed with becoming a better chef.  We grew up with my parents cooking all the time. We mainly had pasta/Italian in the winter and as much BBQ as possible in the summer.  Great meals always meant incredible memories with friends and family. 

As a "grown-up," I started to love trying new recipes and I'm not afraid to fail...(Recently, I miserably failed on a stuffed tomato recipe).  I've decided to make a list of dishes I want to "master."  These include:

1) quiche  (making my first one tomorrow!)
2) lamb shank
3) stuffed tomatoes...since my last attempt was horrible!
4) chicken marsala
5) lamb stew
6) lobster tail

Since I have my apron, everything should work out perfectly.   Wish me luck!
